Mountain Escape

After deciding at 1PM Sunday (the 17th) to leave for Cashiers without one bag packed, we FINALLY made it around midnight. Yes we are crazy but it was so nice to wake up to this gorgeous view!
Sleepy head enjoying her first fire (when we got there she was WIDE awake until 2:30 AM! We all were sleepy!)
Oh how we have missed this! Hurry up cooler weather come to Jacksonville!!
The weather was PERFECT! Not too hot, not too cold and not a cloud in the sky. Not to mention the leaves were gorgeous. In the past, the leaves had already fallen around the house and the weather is rainy so it was a nice change.
We headed down to Cashiers to grab some groceries and got Margaret her first pumpkin
Snuggling with my lil girl.
The BIG 3-0!!!
JB surprised me with a stroller. I had actually been scouting out consignment events ALL over Jacksonville for over a month and he had this all along!
(our garage is the YETI warehouse :)

We decided to put the new stroller to use and walk the Cashiers trail
but had a yummy lunch at Cafe 107 first. Definitely wasn't a quick lunch but we had nowhere to be.

Who wouldn't want to bath here and look at this view!

Papa and Memo left me a wonderful bottle of wine that we enjoyed with our lamb. Thank you again!!
We have been devouring puffs so we decided to see if Margaret could pick up food. She ate a little but wanted mommy to give her the rest with a spoon.
We have started going on walks after she eats her dinner so we bundled up and . . .
headed down the mountain to play with Tucker at the field.

Hanging out with dad on the gator

Helping mommy and daddy cook breakfast . . . think she was really trying to wake Jana and Dave up :)
The nursery in town had the coolest tractor made out of pumpkins
The cutest cow in town :)

Enjoying lunch at the Cornucopia!
Afterwards we took a walk around High Hampton. Both Jana and I grew up going there as kids. Brought back so many wonderful memories.
