Summer Fun

We have spent A LOT of time in the backyard!
I quickly realized it is challenging being the only eyes on these two girls

especially with Simms not sitting still!

 Her new favorite spot :)
 Playdate with her friend Pierce
 Face painting at Sadler
Rainy Sunday afternoon = Popcorn and a Movie
We somehow found ourselves potty training this week. Definitely was not planning on doing it until after we got back from my cousins wedding but Margaret had different plans. It has been a challenge going poo in the potty but have had only one TT accident. I am so proud at how well she has done.
On the 11th, we celebrated our 7 year anniversary at Orsay. I highly recommend the French Pear Martini. The girls spent the night with Gigi and Pops. It was Simms first night away from us. Definitely was nerve wrecking but she did great! Thanks again Gigi and Pops for keeping the girls! XOXO

Langston turned 3 so we headed out to the beach to celebrate.
It was a bit windy so Simms didn't last long
Enjoying some lemonade with the birthday girl
 Yobe = happy girl

Simms napped for two hours and missed the party!
Poor thing missed her nap and was out cold as we drove away from the house.

8 Months!

Happy busy bee!!!
Her top four teeth are coming in so it has been rough. The fangs first! Looks extremely funny! Hopefully the middle two will come in sooner than later.
She started crawling about a month ago (7.5 months) and is into EVERYTHING!
Margaret loves it! She tries to get Simms to chase her constantly. If Simms isn't crawling she is standing up or trying to climb on things like her big sister. You have to keep your eyes on both of them 24/7!

Memorial Weekend

We had a fun weekend with Uncle Dick and Aunt Megan! Saturday we took advantage of the gorgeous weather and headed to the club for some fun in the sun!
Simms loved her first time in the pool!

We had a breakfast picnic before the storm came through

We were very blessed to not loose power and to have one limb fall.
Margaret had fun helping daddy pick up all the sticks in the yard.
The rained seemed to linger for days and days! We had lots of tea parties and thanks to Uncle Dick for making them extra special with the dozen cupcakes he bought her :)
