Margaret is 2!

We had a VERY eventful birthday week for Miss Margaret.

It started out at the doctors office, NOT for her two year checkup.

I received a phone call from school that gives you one of the worst feelings! I was told they thought Margaret had fallen asleep in the toy car but when they went up to her she was pail and limp. They believed she had passed out. Of course I was running errands to get ready for her birthday and felt like I was hours away. Her coloring was back to normal by the time I got there but from the look in her teachers eyes they were scared. We went to the doctor later that afternoon to get blood work done to make sure she wasn't anemic etc. Thankfully everything came back fine. Still a nervous wreck, I think I watched her on the monitor the whole night. We still do not know what caused it but am so thankful it was nothing serious.

Her favorite place to eat is Tijuana Flats. It just so happens that kids eat free on Wednesday so we headed up there for an early birthday celebration.

Who knew though it would be so early in the morning! 5:30!!!!!!

As soon as the sun was starting to rise, we gave her her present. Think she likes it ;)

She ran to play and was having a ball.

We had a fun birthday lunch with Margaret and enjoyed cookies she made for her classmates.

That evening Langston and Courtney came over for dinner to celebrate. Harper had to work :(

She loves her sweets! Wonder where she gets that from :)
Can't believe my baby girl is two. Time flies when you are having fun. You are been such a precious, smart girl.

Thank you Uncle Dick and Aunt Megan for my GIGANTIC caterpillar. I think mom likes the pearls better :) It did make for a great party decoration though.

We could NOT of pulled the party off without Megan! Words can not express how thankful we are for her help! We love you!!

Birthday girl!

Having a blast with one of her buddies from school.

Harper was so sweet and brought YOBE. Let me tell you it was a hit. Margaret barely touched her cupcake. She was all about her YOBE :)

We tried to put Simms down for a nap right before the party started. She had different plans. She stayed awake the whole time and was so good!

5 Months!

Simms has grown up so much! She is still taking cat naps but is sleeping through the night.

Well that is until these started pocking through! Poor thing has had a blister on one of them :(

She is getting much better at sitting up. Simms can't crawl but that is not going to stop her from getting something at the other end of the room. She LOVES to roll!

We started her on food this past weekend. With all her tummy issues we decided to start with oatmeal. She loves to eat. The moment I pull everything out to make her food she freaks!

I couldn't get through the day without my helper!

One morning Margaret crawled up in the chair to feed her baby :)

and had to use every burp cloth

to catch all the spit up when burping! :)

Spring has sprung

and we have been busy!

Last week we had a lot of excitement at our house

The huge tree was removed

Definitely hard to watch the huge branches dangling over our house

but the end result is amazing!

it has been a mess all week but we will finally get grass tomorrow.

Just in time for this little girls birthday next weekend! Can not believe she will be 2!

And this little one has two teeth that are about to poke through!

Silence usually means getting into no good except this time. I was cleaning the kitchen and had not heard Margaret. Peaked through to find this. These photo books are worth every penny!
