More goodies . . .

Thanks Gigi for a wonderful lunch at Biscottis! Aunt Bebe and Cousin Roe joined us and had a great time! Thank you both for my goodies. Looking forward to getting pedicures as soon as I get back in town.
Cousin Roe and Kirby got Baby Brent a lil something as well.
Last Saturday, Uncle Dick called asking questions about our registry. I told him he didn't have to send me anything but was told it wasnt for me :) It was suppose to arrive later in the week but surprise . . . it arrived today!!
He also got us a bedskirt but didnt realize we already had one so we will save it for him :)
Thanks Uncle Dick! We love it!

Best gift of all!!

We had a checkup up this morning (19 weeks) and was able to see Baby Brent in action! Once again the nurse told us the baby is just a moving. . . just like its father, can't sit still!!!

Feet that keep kicking mom!

Baby Brent is 11 ounces and growing! The heartbeat is strong and couldn't stop watching it beat. I still can't believe this little person is inside me . . . but these constant kicks keep reminding me!
We are headed to the mountains this weekend for some R&R and celebrate reaching the half way point - 20 weeks this Friday. Yippee!! I am then headed to Birmingham with Grandmother Cassidy for a few days so hopefully dad will get a lot of work done on the windows . . . hint hint :)

Birthday Surprise!

Dad spoiled me yet again! He surprised me with a laptop! At first I didn't say anything bc I wasn't happy he spent the money but he told me he has been saving up for awhile. Sneaky JB! Ours died awhile ago and have really wished we had it while pregnant so I didn't have to work in this uncomfortable chair all day! Thanks dad for such a wonderful gift!!
Growing up I always loved ice cream cakes so decided that is what I wanted this year! Thank goodness he didn't put 29 candles but did put 4 trick candles which I definitely could not blow out!
Yes we had cake a night early :) It has been sitting in our freezer for almost a week staring at me so I couldn't wait any longer!

Any chance we get . . .

We sit back, relax and enjoy a great fire!

Nap time!

Sunday afternoon, the Bryan's came over to see the nursery progress and enjoy the gorgeous "cooler" weather. Sweet Langston fell asleep in my arms! Oh how I can't wait for Baby Brent!

John . . . stop taking pics and please let me sleep!

Decisions, Decisions!

John and I decided to register after church yesterday. We had a quick lunch at Ted's Montana Grill and walked across to Pottery Barn Kids www.potterybarnkids.com. Smaller store, piece of cake! Babies-R-Us, www.babiesrus.com, was a different story. We started, thank goodness, at the back of the store with the bigger items and by the time we made it to the front (on only one side), I was fading! We have a lot of research to do!
Apparently when dad was scanning items he wasn't paying attention whether the item was discontinued so who knows what all we think we registered for but actually didn't! In the meantime it is a good start!
One week until we get to see Baby Brent! Dad keeps saying one week until my birthday but I am too excited about seeing the little one, which has been kicking away :)

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Cassidy for the great gifts! Can not wait to get the room completed and decorate! Dad . . . please hurry home! A lot of work to do :) XOXO

Could it be???

Last week, I noticed a different feeling in my stomach but it never happened again so I didn't think twice. Saturday night as we were watching the game I felt the same feeling a couple of times in a row! Again later that night, yesterday and today! So I think it is . . . Baby Brent kicking!
I have hit 17 weeks and feeling better each day. I wake up every morning with a bigger belly :)

The Farm

This past weekend, we packed our bags and headed to the farm to see Uncle Dick and Megan. We had a great weekend riding around on Grandpa's new Polaris dodging spiderwebs and watching Dad help Grandpa hang and "test" deer feeders. Of course never had my camera when we needed it but was able to take a few.
Uncle Dick and Dad watching Auburn vs. Tennessee. Someone wouldn't take his eyes off the game!
Big Brother Tucker helping with dinner
I was up bright and early Sunday morning so I sat on the porch in the rocking chair and watched the sunrise overlooking the pond with "all" the dogs.

Early Birthday Gift . . .

Awhile ago I had seen a crib I liked but recently was no longer available. Daddy ended up calling since we were having a hard time finding another one we liked and they had 2 left!! Thank you Great Grandmother Mimi! We love it and can't wait for Baby Brent to use it!
The box was so big, daddy had to take it apart in the foyer!
Tucker is not so sure about this!
He kept pushing me away while I was trying to straighten the dust ruffle
Night Night Baby Brent!
Minus the mattress - daddy thought it came with it :)
16 weeks, 3 days!
We can't wait for Baby Brent's Arrival!

Bye Bye Wallpaper . . .

Grandmother Cassidy has been working hard scrapping wallpaper in the gorgeous bathroom :)
Just a little bit left on the ceiling and behind the mirror then daddy has project two to start! Daddy's current project is scrapping the windows/molding. Baby Brent and mommy are very grateful for the hardworkers!!
