4 month visit

Margaret is right on track . . . great head control, holding things, pushing up, babbling, laughing and LOTS and LOTS of smiling!
Lately with all the traveling she has been thrown for a loop so hopefully the length of sleep will get better but not holding my breath. We did mention that she's been drinking 10-12 ounces at her bedtime feeding. Yes I know it is NOT normal and NO I am not depriving her during the day. She has some odd eating habits so the doctor mentioned we might want to try rice cereal and see if it helps.
Dr Shaw noticed some clicking in her hip so she has requested an x-ray. They are going to call me in the next week or two to let me know when to go to Wolfson's. Please pray it is nothing!
Margaret did GREAT with her shots. The first shot, no crying, the second shot, brief crying and actually gave the nurse a little smile when she was walking out the door. I was so proud of her! At the moment she is snoozing and doing great!
Next visit is 6 months! Can not believe it! Time is flying way too fast!!

Weight - 13 lbs. 7.5 oz. - 50%
(Gained 1 lb since we went 2 weeks ago for her earache)

Home Sweet Home

Margaret and I are back after being gone for a week. She has been to GA, SC, NC & AL all by the age of 4 months. We found out she loves parties and people!
She was a huge help packing :)
4 months (July 15) - Getting energy out before we head to Atlanta
And we are off - let the wedding festivities begin
We made it! So happy to be out of the car. She was a trooper yet again on a road trip. Lets hope this continues :)
Thursday night was a low country boil to start off the wedding weekend. Margaret and Roe wore their 4th of July outfits Gigi made.
The happy couple

While we were at the bridesmaids luncheon on Friday, dad went shopping for Margaret :)
Gigi & Pops threw a fabulous rehearsal dinner. The food was wonderful! Especially the dessert . . .mommy and daddy's favorite!!!!
Saturday dad went to lunch with the groom and groomsmen so we spent time in the room playing

Mr & Mrs James Oliver Brent
Margaret loved spending time with Mary Lynn
Lockwood cousins

Congrats Mr & Mrs Brent!!! We are so happy for you guys and had a wonderful time, especially your niece.
On Sunday, dad headed back to Jax with Gigi & Pops while Margaret and I headed to Birmingham with Grandma Cass to spend time with Mo.
Since I was unable to go to Birmingham for the funeral, we went to the grave site to spend some time. The Tillman toomb is in the middle of Meme, my great grandparents and great great grandparents.

We miss you Meme!!!
Margaret's great great grandmother who she is named after and who I share the same birthday.
I unfortunately did not take any pictures but captured this on our last night. She LOVES Mo and gave him nonstop smiles!

On Wednesday we headed to Columbus to stay with Dick & Megan but stopped in Auburn on our way to see Aunt Liz at work.

Not sure what I was thinking when we planned our drive home but we survived. We stopped in Tifton to get lunch and take a break and before we knew it we were home. We had a fabulous time in Atlanta for the wedding and enjoyed spending time with Mo but there is no place like home!

Busy Week

(she is rolling over all the way now. Might be on accident but hey thats ok she's doing it!)
We have had a BUSY week. Dad had to travel again so it was just us girls . . . and of course Tucker who kept us in line. We ran lots of errands, mailed her invites, and kept Papa and Grandma's plants alive. At least we hope we have.
Margaret has become a piece of work. All she wants to do is stand or sit up so it's been nonstop and not much down time for mom!
She is wanting everything in her mouth!
We made our first trip to Target on top of the cart. Every other time she's gone in the snap in go so we decided to go for it since I had to get a few more things than I could carry. Thank goodness we managed NOT to crash into anything.
She LOVES playing with Tucker. She watches where he runs and laughs when he catches the ball.
Chef M getting ready to help mom make banana bread for dad :)
Cleaning up the mess
Busy body. She is loving the exersaucer more and more each day. She has discovered the mirror which has kept her pretty occupied.
She gets tired of laying down so we have started putting the Bumbo in the middle of her play mat so she can play with the toys.
It helps me out so I do not have to keep picking the toys up after she throws them off the tray
While we were waiting for dad to come home, she had been playing hard. I went to put a load of laundry in the dryer and came back to this. My heart melted.
Even more so when I walked behind her and saw that she was still playing :)
Love having daddy home!

First Road Trip

Found these pics of Margaret's first road trip a few weeks ago. We barely made it past the airport exit before she was out.
Are we there yet?????
She did great all the way to Greenville. From Greenville to Highlands was another story. After a day in the car and night of NOT sleeping in the hotel, the LAST thing she wanted to do was sit in the car for 2 and half ours. Think she fussed the WHOLE way.
Jacksonville here we come!!!
We originally were going to stop in Atlanta to see Uncle James and VERY soon-to-be Aunt Mary Jane but decided to drive back to Jax. I was sick from exhaustion and the last thing we wanted to do was unpack and pack the car again. It amazes me all the stuff we have to travel with.
She has been so eager to sit up that she spent half the trip like this. We were so surprised it didn't wear her out and she didn't sleep more than she did.

YEAH we are home!!!
Margaret did a great job on her first of many ROAD trips. Hope she does as a wonderful a job to Atlanta for Uncle Jamesies wedding.

Happy 4th!

We had a wonderful weekend on the SEA DEERE! Daddy took the boat over to the club Thursday and after going back and forth, we decided Saturday that we would stay until Monday (Thank you again Aunt Liz for keeping Tucker). The weather was perfect. A lil windy for the floating docks but gave us a perfect breeze all weekend.
She loved playing in front of the mirror.
Sweet Langston having fun celebrating the fourth

Bath time . . . which was very interesting :)
First 4th family pic

Girls look this way :)
Got it!
Adorable outfit Gigi made

Langston had a blast playing in the Bumbo :) Wish we had the video camera!
Margaret LOVED the fireworks. As daddy said, "she is just like her momma."

Lately she gets excited over most everything. She makes this adorable facial expression and shacks her arms and legs.
Her first pair of crocs

She is keeping me pretty busy these days. Wanting to stand, play with all the toys and inching slowly across her mat. This week she started lifting her bottom in the air. Hope she doesn't figure out how to lift her upper body anytime soon. Not sure I am ready!!

She puts everything in her mouth!
