Recently I feel like all I do is hold her so she can stand or sit. Gigi reminded me of the Bumbo so we pulled it out and gave it a try.

No matter how many times I tried to change her position, she always ended up like this.

First Boat Ride

Yesterday, dad and Harper took the boat to the club to get ready for Memorial Weekend. Margaret and I decided to get some fresh air and go for her first boat ride. As you can tell, she loved it :) We sat up top and she snoozed as we slowly made our way towards the club.

10 weeks!

Margaret is getting so big!

She can not sit still. Margaret has to be sitting or standing. She stomps her feet and moves her legs as if she is walking. Hope this isn't a sign of what is to come first :)

Saturday night, a friend of mine from high school got married. The wedding was so much fun! Whitney looked gorgeous and the two mom's had a blast. I miss you Hol! Move back to Jax!

Margaret was so good for her first church outing. She slept the whole time, even during the loud music. We couldn't believe it!

First play date with Avery Joyner before they flew back to PHX. We had fun catching up and watching the girls together. So glad Robb, Dorothy and Ann Evans were able to stop by. Think the adults had more fun :)

Going to be great friends. Can not wait for our first Brent/Joyner family vacation!

2 Month Checkup

Yesterday was a tough day for both Margaret and I. We had her 2 month checkup. As you can tell she was all smiles and talking away. I felt so bad knowing what was going to happen.

The doctor said Margaret looked great and is right on track.

Weight: 10 lbs. 8 oz. (50%)

Height: 23 inches (75%)

Head Cir.: 39 cm (50%)

She got shots in both legs :( It was so hard for me to watch.

Got to love the Tasmanian Devil band-aids.

Taken before she went down for a nap and woke up screaming. Poor thing did not feel well. It broke my heart and we both cried! Thank goodness she is much better today.

Classic

While driving to Fort George this past Sunday, we passed these guys on their way to the boat ramp. Hard to tell but they are sitting in a boat, in the bed of the truck with a pack-n-play between them. Don't worry there was not a baby in there.

Friday we had play time before heading up to the club for a drink.

Sunday we drove out to Fort George for my adorable goddaughter's baptism. Both Grier & Margaret were perfect angels!

We went to Blue Fish Sunday night to celebrate Aunt Liz graduating college!

Margaret held Aunt Liz's finger with her foot during dinner! She was awake the whole time and barely fussed, that is until she had another huge poop diaper. She has decided to have poop diapers at dinner time for some reason, starting Friday night at the club. Huge explosion!! Thanks again Court for your help :)

First Play Date

Today we had our first play date at Kline Cummings house. Carrie picked up kabobs from Zoe's which were delicious! I was a little nervous since we haven't been out and about too much but couldn't have asked for a more perfect angel.

8 weeks

Time is flying! Can not believe she will be 2 months old this Saturday.

We were a bit fussy and didn't feel well yesterday. She only wanted to be in mom's arms.

We made our first trip to Target. I had to get Benadryl for Tucker so decided to take Margaret with me. I was nervous when she woke up and started squirming a bit but thank goodness she was an angel.

We had a coupon for Babies-R-Us so I went ahead and got a pack-n-play for our many trips we have this summer. We decided to test it out.

She has found her thumb. It is the cutest thing watching her hold it between her fingers. She keeps trying to put her fist in her mouth. Before we know it she will be sucking her thumb. Have mixed emotions.
