How we spend our days . . .

Rise and shine mommy!
Daddy got a new toy which Margaret loves to watch, from the AC that is. We can NOT wait for fall!
Playing dress up with a bracelet that was Gigi's and my baby ring.

Jump Jump Jump!!!
from the Bumbo . . .
to the jumperoo . . .
the doorway jumper
the swing . . .
the crib . . .
and the play mat with Tucker!
She is a busy body! When she figures out how to crawl, I am in trouble!
We love looking at the Sunday paper - waiting to find our uncles

Beat the heat!
We met the Bryans up at the pool one morning and tried out the ladybug which Margaret loves!

Since then we have made many attempts to let our little fishy swim but the weather unfortunately has not cooperated.

First Summer Nights Getaway

On August 8, John surprised me with a getaway. He sent me an invitation in the mail and told me to have my bags packed and childcare was provided by Gigi and Pops. After many tears shed, we dropped her off and were on our way. . . to . . . surprise The Lodge!
Our room was not ready when we got there so we enjoyed some cocktails (to help take my mind off of Margaret. I must say all the little kids on the beach didn't help :)
We headed to an early dinner in style. John surprised me with a limo so we could both have fun. From the outside the Cadillac looked fabulous.
But this pretty much sums it all up!!! It was the most disgusting limo you have ever seen!!!!!
but we managed to have fun!
The next morning came too soon!! Of course I am use to getting up with Miss Margaret so no sleeping late for me :(

Before checking out, we enjoyed some time on the beach to try and feel better. We were both feeling a lil rough!
Thank you for a wonderful getaway and for the grandparents for keeping our kids!
I SURVIVED!!!!!! and can NOT wait to see where we go next year :)

Baptism Weekend

Margaret loves a party so you can say she had a blast this weekend! Saturday night we had the family and godparents over for a Low Country Boil. The weather was horrible ALL afternoon but cleared up in time for daddy to cook the wonderful food!
Aunt Mary Jane . . . we are so excited the newlyweds came!
Mo = red Ferrari :)
Yummy god momma
The chefs
Good Morning! This is how we find her when she wakes up now. She has been rolling over for a month and a half now and just started rolling over in her crib.
We have had a hard time getting back on schedule after being gone for a week but not Saturday night! She slept from 8:30 until 7:45 with only one wakeup at 12:30!! I couldn't believe it. I was up at 5:30 wondering why she wasn't up.

Gorgeous gown Gigi made
Bonnet that Memo made when I was a baby
The date will go on in the other spot

so the next generation would know them,

even the children yet to be born,

and they in turn would tell their children.

Then they would put their trust in God

and would not forget his deeds

but would keep his commands

It took an army to get the lil one dressed.
Margaret was a perfect angel during the service. She took a small snooze in the beginning and loved to be the center of attention the rest of the time.

Godparents

The Moors were there in spirit, thank you again for the fabulous gift!
Papa and Memo held a wonderful reception afterwards.
The guest of honor slept most of the time until mommy woke her up. Everyone knows how much she loves a party and would be so upset to have missed it.
The Brent family
Scott was laying on the floor and Margaret could not take her eyes off of him
Can we say green!
The Cassidy Family
The Cannons
The Bryans
Scott Busey
Best Buds!
The Silly Buseys
We had a wonderful day!

Thank you to everyone who came from near and far to share this special day with us! We love yall!

First and hopefully last trip to Wolfson's

Thursday morning, Memo (that is what JB is calling Grandmother Cassidy now) and I took Margaret to get an X-ray at Wolfson's Children Hospital on her hip. Margaret was on her best behavior. Little bit of a wiggle worm but thank goodness the nurses were able to get enough pictures to say that everything is ok. Thank you for everyones thoughts and prayers!!!! Mommy is beyond relieved!
