Charleston Girls Trip

And we are off . . . the girls were good for the most part. Definitely got a glimpse of having two kids. One napping, one fussing and vice versa.
We had two happy girls that were so excited to be out of the car.
Grier is ALL over the place and has sooooo much energy. Made me really not want Margaret to figure out how to crawl!
We fed them their dinner and enjoyed some apples for dessert.

We then strolled up to King Street and had some dinner. No so kid friendly. They looked at us like are you really bringing these two kids in here. We definitely dined and dashed but not before enjoying a glass of wine. Well enjoyed might not be the best word. Margaret loves to let everyone know she is there and made some VERY loud noises. At least she was NOT screaming right!
Bath time! Which means some much needed quiet time for two mommies.
Good Morning! She was so happy to see her buddy :)

We ate lunch at Mustard Seed. It was delicious and the girls enjoyed their very own snack as well. (Notice Grier's outfit. Margaret has the same one :)
Margaret also let everyone know she was there again. Thank goodness this place was a little bit louder than the night before so she almost blended in.
A great day of shopping . . . for the girls of course. Times have changed. There were so many antiques store I wanted to go in but not with miss priss.

Margaret was in need of a hat so mommy of course had to get the sweater to go with it. (there are two owls on them which seems to be something I keep getting.)

I am going to get you Margaret . . .
Gotcha!
Watch out Grier. Margaret may not be moving around much but she will get you when you least expect it.

Home Sweet Home . . . getting energy out :)
We had a great quick girls trip and hope to do it again!

Out on the town!

Last Saturday we had a themed birthday party to go to. Can you guess it???
Mad Men

Before getting into costume, we dropped Margaret off at Gigi and Pops for her second night away from us. Brooks and Brett came over beforehand for dinner and off we went in our 60's attire. We had a great time at the party but decided to meet the Bryans and Buseys at the Brick for some night caps. We all had a great time . . . so much so it took me several days to recuperate!

Thanks again Gigi and Pops for keeping Margaret!!

Visit with MomB

A few weeks ago we went and had a wonderful visit with MomB
She couldn't believe how big she had gotten and neither can we!! Where have the last 8 months gone?!?!?
Over the last few weeks, Margaret has become a pro in her walker. May have created a monster. She is all over the place! (in her walker that is. She still is not crawling which is fine by me. She would rather stand than be on her stomach)
Tucker is NOT a fan of her moving. She chases him around the kitchen :) Sorry T-man, you think this is bad. You haven't seen nothing yet!!!
We have been eating food on our own. I think more of it ends up in her lap than her mouth!
Last weekend, Margaret enjoyed her first fire in our house.
She is a busy body scooting around everywhere on her mat. When she is not pulling up on her toys, her favorite thing to do is empty the basket one by one.

A few weeks ago, daddy had to leave before Margaret woke up. He normally gets her out of bed and the one morning he doesn't, she is sitting up!! Think it is time to lower the crib again!!!

Margaret was all smiles with the Christmas music and lights. We are so excited for her first Christmas!!!!!

Halloween Cont. . .

Good Morning Trick or Treaters!
We spent most of the day watching daddy move all the stump grindings to the backyard. She was all smiles every time daddy came around the corner.
Kirby came over to help JB. Not sure who had more fun!
Trick or Treating time! First stop Miss Langston . . . the cutest bumblebee!

Before heading to see Gigi and Pops and then Mimi Cassidy, we stopped at what was left of the pumpkin patch and had pictures taken with all the cousins.

Curious George (Roe) and Lego Man (Kirby)

Last but not least . . . Memo and Papa!

Home sweet home!
We had a lot of fun with our neighbors (didn't come inside until 9:45) and look forward to next year.
